The CSU hired 60Sticks to facilitate and manage a multi-million pound procurement for IT infrastructure and architecture.
reduce the amount spent on the solution
procure a future proof system that would enhance the regions ability to mine and map data
establish a long term strategic supplier relationship
explore further efficiencies and advances in systems technology.
60Sticks worked with the CSU to develop a competitive process, including the scoring methodology compliant with Public Contract Regulations. A shortlisting exercise to restrict the number of suppliers that demonstrated their capability to implement and deliver large scale IT infrastructure change, shortlisted suppliers provided with an invitation to tender.
60Sticks helped to analyse the Invitation To Tender (ITT) responses, validate the information in the ITTs including reviewing quality and technical components. 60Sticks provided the evaluation templates required for scoring the documentation and managed the moderation approach to the procurement
"The support and guidance that 60Sticks provides is honest, knowledgeable, reliable and supportive. They provide us with invaluable help to ensure that we are able to articulate our service model and unique selling points. With total professionalism and timely responses to our queries we view 60Sticks as the perfect support partner for our tendering process."
CHCP hired 60Sticks to lead on a multi-million pound tender composed of three lots for a number of healthcare services they currently deliver. These services were fundamental to the business and therefore retention was of paramount importance.
60Sticks initial role was to evaluate written responses and score them in line with the published evaluation methodology. It became clear that the pattern of scoring could have resulted in the loss of the contract for CHCP, which was not a viable option.
60Sticks therefore helped to rewrite a proportion of the bid response document focussing particularly on service model design, quality and mobilisation. This involved liaising across the business with key staff to help refine the service detail and provide evidence of delivery experience to support their bid document.
60Sticks met the challenge of restricted timescales, and complex healthcare service structures to support the delivery of a successful tender response document which resulted in the retention of the contract for a further five years.
